Project 365 - #148 Facebook Page Management Analytics
I finally managed some time to work on 1 of my 2014 goals which is to launch the online presence for Ngoc Mai Gallery. Huge thanks to my sister who did all the edit job and adding watermark, and my friend Viet who took most of the pictures, I was able to upload some pictures on Facebook (Here) The next step is to start building directory on the actually website, but I really need to get around how to store all the paintings information because it’s super painful to put each painting’s info on Fb, then do the same thing for the files stored in my computer, then repeat everything when I upload them on the website.
Before I get to that stage, I noticed some cool free analytics tools that Facebook offer for Page admin. I picked three most favorite graphs:
1) Posts: Most of my contents were posted last Saturday, and the Saturday before. Album “Abstract” has the most reach although it was just uploaded 2 days ago. I wonder if it’s because of the vivid first picture - really eye-catching. Portrait album ranked 1st on engagement (Post Clicks) but that might be skewed since my mom was browsing heavily to spot the “Sold” paintings.
2) Demographic: lost of young people (from 18-34) Kudos to all my friends whom I diligently tagged and tagged. More than half is coming from US. So my goal is to bring up the Vietnam penetration since the gallery is local.
3) Origin of Page Like: Facebook is basically queen of mobile. I did not quite understand by what it means by “On Your Page” - is the traffic coming to my page first and like it ? How is it different from getting a like from “Mobile”? Desktop is probably myself and my mom.
I hope to be able to see better trends through these analytics tools once I build more content to interact with my users.
Let me know if you spot anything interesting from my screenshot. Cheers -
